Potenza.jpg (8288 bytes) Potenza was born in Scotland, came to the United States at the age of 18. She graduated from the College of Mt. Vincent in New York and completed her education at the world-renown Art Student's League in Manhattan. For more than 30 years, Potenza has been painting in oil and acrylic, creating distinctive works in mixed media and sculpture. She created the "HEARTS OF THE WORLD" art project in conjunction with the United Nations. Through this she has traveled the world extensively making presentations to dignitaries around the globe. She has meet with Pope Paul in Rome, Archbishop Desmond Tutu in South Africa, President Calderon in El Salvador, the White House, the list goes on. Her paintings of peace hang in many country capitols throughout the world. Potenza Currently lives and works in Sonoma County, California.
