SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
MediPoint Physicians
MediPoint is sold only to licensed practitioners wishing to expand their practice into Alternative and Complementary Medicine. MediPoint is designed for Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Medical Doctors, Naturopathic Doctors, Osteopathic Doctors, Psychiatrists and other modalities that allow for legal recommendation of nutraceutical treatment.
Computer Requirements
MediPoint requires the following hardware and software:
Hardware:
- A Pentium based IBM or compatible computer running at a minimum of 90 MHz. A math co-processor is not required.
At least 64 megabytes of random access memory (RAM).
A hard disk with at least 200 megabytes of free space for MediPoint files.
An additional 12-megabyte of disk space is required for MediPoint and Windows virtual memory. Note: Let Windows manage your virtual memory settings. File system and virtual memory must be 32-bit.
- A graphics card compatible with Windows. Example: Diamond Stealth 64 DRAM with 2 megabytes of Video RAM with PCI interface. MediPoint runs best with 2 megabytes of VRAM.
- A 12x or better CDROM Drive.
- A MediPoint touch screen monitor. Your MediPoint system comes with the MediPoint touch screen 15" monitor.
- A mouse and keyboard supported by Windows 95.
- A printer supported by Windows. Example: A Hewlett Packard Laser Jet 4 Plus. A Twelve (12) pages per minute printer is desirable.
- A MediPoint software protection key. Your MediPoint system comes with the MediPoint software protection key.
- Uninterruptable power supply (UPS) unit. A 250-watt unit is best.
Software:
- Windows 95 or greater
- MicroTouch - touch screen software. This software comes with your MediPoint system.
- MediPoint version 2.5 or greater. This software comes with your MediPoint system.
Note:
- MediPoint Systems, LLC will not provide technical support for any computer system that has a screen saver or any other TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) type programs that are installed on the computer that is executing MediPoint software.
